About five years ago, I received a phone call that would shape the direction of my professional life. It was from Irene Dahl, previous owner and operator of Dahl Funeral Home in Bozeman and the first female president of the Montana Funeral Director Association (2001), asking if I would consider serving as the southwest district governor for the MFDA.
